We are delighted to present two limited editions on the occasion of Danielle Braithwaite-Shirley's exhibition THE DELUSION at Serpentine North Gallery. Commissioned and produced by Serpentine Arts Technologies, THE DELUSION is Brathwaite-Shirley’s most ambitious work to date — featuring a new series of video games and works developed collaboratively over the course of the past year with a team of artists, researchers, technologists and members of Danielle’s Black Trans and Queer community.

Danielle frequently uses paper doilies, identical to those used by their grandmother, as a material within their work and often draws and paints bold monochrome cartoonish scenes straight onto this tactile and alluring medium. The two limited edition prints Serpentine has produced with Danielle are screen print reproductions of drawings printed onto the same doilies used by Danielle in her prolific drawing practice. Using this everyday medium to print onto creates both a two dimensional print as well as a three dimensional interactive object.
