Gabriel Massan: Third World – The Bottom Dimension
The publication documents the Third World: The Bottom Dimension project, comprising a decolonial video game, exhibitions and web3 tokens, conceptualised by artist Gabriel Massan. The project platforms and brings together a vital generation of interdisciplinary, queer, Afro-diasporic Brazilian artists. Together their work embraces ancestral knowledge, decolonial gospels, climate sensibility, speculative fiction, and an openness to transformation.
The book challenges us to reconsider the ways we understand our actions in the world through the lens of decoloniality, queer theories, and decentralized strategies in technology, economics and philosophy. The project, developed through collaboration and a multiplicity of voices, builds through this publication, a portal for us to enter a state of radical imagination.
