On the occasion of the project KAWS: NEW FICTION presented by SERPENTINE x ACUTE ART x FORTNITE, KAWS has produced a limited edition print.
Following Serpentine’s series of unique collaborations bringing artists together with the latest technology which it launched with BTS in 2020, Serpentine, Acute Art and Fortnite present KAWS: NEW FICTION featuring new and recent works in physical, virtual and augmented reality at Serpentine North from 18 January - 27 February 2022.
The exhibition is presented in collaboration with Acute Art and curated by Acute’s Artistic Director, Daniel Birnbaum. A virtual recreation of the show will launch simultaneously at 3pm GMT on 18th January in Fortnite, allowing millions of players from all over the world to experience the exhibition from anywhere.
Serpentine has a thirty-year history of selling editions with artists to raise essential and core funds for the gallery and all profits from the sales of the editions will directly support Serpentine’s exhibitions, architecture, education, live and digital programmes.
