This publication, published by the Fondazione Merz in Turin, features texts in English and Italian by Richard Flood, Ester Coen, Costantino D’Orazio and Chiara Bertola. It is accompanied by a leaflet produced by the Serpentine Gallery on the occasion of Marisa Merz’s exhibition in London, which includes an interview with the artist by Serpentine Gallery director Hans Ulrich Obrist. Merz has participated five times in the Venice Biennale. Her work has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions internationally, including shows at the Kunstmuseum Winterthur (2003), the Galleria d’Arte Moderna Bologna (1998), the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam (1996) and the Centre Pompidou (1994).
