Edition of 125
Hand signed and numbered by the artist

A filmmaker and installation artist, Horn is a sculptor known for devising surreal extensions to the human body and elaborate mechanised sculptures. She is also a performance artist and a poet.

This edition was created after Rebecca Horn's touring exhibition that started at the Centre d’Art Contemporain in Geneva in 1983 and ended at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, in 1984. Showing at Serpentine Galleries from January - February 1984 this was a major mid-career retrospective of German artist Rebecca Horn (b.1944) and explored some of the many facets of her work.. It was accompanied by a publication featuring text by Toni Stooss, published by the Kunsthaus Zurich.

All proceeds directly support the Serpentine's multiple strands of programming and most importantly during this time, the delivery of our civic engagement projects.
